The main building of this complex was built in 1928, and named the Havana Biltmore Yacht and Country Club. It became soon an architectural symbol with Classic styles merged in an Eclectic code, a basic component of Cuban construction patterns during Republican times One of its main roles was the practicing of “ amateur sports “ by the young members of the top Cuban Bourgeoisie.
