Due to the country's amazing cultural diversity, Cuban fine arts are quite rich and diverse. All along the national history outstanding painters and sculptors have been a significant part of the Island's life.

This is a basic tour we offer to our clients, but we can do much more than this.

We have designed a tour which will take you to a general approach of Cuban Fine Arts, not only to Cuban painting but also to sculptural arts and architecture. You will appreciate the most important collections exhibited in Cuban Museums, will talk to painters in their studios, will admire the most impressive sculptures on public spaces and buildings; and all that, generally located within a unique context composed by historic architectural testimonies and intangible manifestations of different times.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore Old Havana guided by preservationists and architects and visit convents which hold important art collections or even enjoy the nostalgic beauty of some cloisters not yet restored. On the way to the Model of Havana City, driving to Vedado and Miramar districts, a high quality Eclectic, Art Deco or Modern architecture, magnificent murals on facades built in the 50´ s like the one on the Havana Libre Hotel and monumental public sculptures could be appreciated. You could meet well known artists in their studios and have a panoramic visit to the recently restored Fine Arts National Museum and its national and foreign collections. The Colón Cemetery, The University of Havana, The Napoleonic Museum, The Decorative Art Museum and a visit to Ludwig Foundation are also included in this Cuban Fine Arts tour.

A 2-days visit to Cienfuegos and a Full Day visit to Trinidad -a World Heritage town- on the way back to Havana, will complement the tour with an insight view from outside the capital city.

The tour ends up with a last day in Havana for having a walking tour by El Prado boulevard under current restoration, a visit to The Capitol building to behold its magnificent halls and painting collection as well as the impressing statue representing the Republic. During this journey, the rehabilitated nineteenth century hotels like the Inglaterra with its Sevillian tiles and mosaics and the Telégrafo, where old ruins and new design dialogue, are the perfect places for coffee, snack or lunch depending on the time of the day. Also on this area, the Sevilla Hotel, a classic from the twenties, allows an unexpected view of the Prado from its roof garden, while you can sip a delicious Cuban drink.
A short guided visit to the Grand Theatre will undoubtedly provide you with a knowledge on the most sophisticated architecture of the beginning of the twentieth century and the splendor of its marble stairs and ornaments. And, at the same time, you might hear some comments on famous stars who have sang or danced on its stage.
